Broderik Paul Everett Blessing 11-2-2008

November 2, 2008 was the blessing of Broderik Paul Everett. The blessing was given by his dad Paul Eric Everett. Bishop Sanders, Gene Current(Papa), Uncles Jason and Brice Current, and Josh Martin stood in for the blessing. We are so blessed to have this wonderful addition to our family and could not imagine life without this sweet spirit. He truly is a gentle soul, just like his daddy. His blessing suit was for a 6 month old and the vest was very snug. Although, it was snug around, the pants had to be taken up a few inches. I guess this is to be expected, because he eats constantly during the day.

I think suits always look so good. Brody looked so handsome in his! I am so proud of the men in my life and am thankful for the wonderful blessing given to our baby boy. Thank you!

Trick or Treat Smell My Feet

The first stop of the night was the Church Trunk or Treat. We started the night by taking a family picture inside the church. The decorations were really great and there was a haunted house that did not phase our fearless little Lawsyn in the least. She just thought it was a fun game that her and daddy were playing. The second stop was Jason and Sheree's to see the kid's costumes. As you can see, Jason is still a kid at heart. Hannah was a precious little witch and JJ and Braden dressed as sumo wrestlers, which we did not get to see due to a malfunction in both of their costumes. Don't worry, the it was just the batteries on there cosutumes that went dead!

The last stop was Grandma Rosalie's. She made carmel corn and apples for everyone. It was very good!

Lawsyn runs away with excitement after touching Frankenstein's face. We also spent a good amount of time drinking out of the water fountain. I think this was the most exciting event of the night for our little lion.

Popeye and Sweet Pea were a very handsome pair on Halloween night. Everyone at the church party raved at the duo! Broderick was a good sport and we had fun showing him off to everyone!

These were some pre-halloween pictures the day of Halloween and the day before. Mommy dressed as a witch for Bunco, but in lieu of getting the whole family ready, did not have time to dress up for the night of Halloween.

Lawsyn is our outside girl and it was no surprise catching her by the door telling us "I want out!"

Little Lawsyn adorning Brody with the witch hat!

This is definitely the good witch!!

Bath Time is FUN TO DO!

Bath time is a family affair. The 2 pictures with my dad and with the pink towel are around at 13 months and the rest are 14 to 17 months. Before we moved in with my parents, we had bath time every night in our RV and since it only has a shower, we used this blue fish tub inside the shower. It was a little cramped, but many memories were made in these few months living in the RV. The one with Paul and Lawsyn is after we moved in with my parents and also the mohawk picture. Obviously, I have a lot of catching up to do!

Bath time is a nightly ritual and is Lawsyn's favorite part of the day. When I was a liitle girl, my dad would give Leah and I mohawks in the bathtub. We thought this was pretty fun and now we are continuing the tradition.
